Purpose:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to join our team as a Wellbeing / School Counsellor / ND Lead / Teacher. This role combines student counselling, pastoral care, and neurodiversity (ND) support, ensuring that all students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The ND Lead aspect involves coordinating support for neurodiverse students, including those with ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, dyslexia, and other learning differences.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counselling to support student mental health, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
Lead the school’s neurodiversity (ND) support program, including identification, assessment, planning, and monitoring of interventions.
Collaborate with teachers, leadership, and families to support students’ learning and wellbeing needs.
Develop and deliver workshops and programs on wellbeing, mental health, and inclusion.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing and ND initiatives, reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
Maintain up-to-date records in line with safeguarding and confidentiality standards.
Contribute to school life through training, mentoring, and pastoral initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

Qualified teacher or accredited counsellor/psychologist with experience in school-based wellbeing or neurodiversity support.
Experience supporting neurodiverse students (e.g., ADHD, autism spectrum, learning differences) is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
Empathetic, proactive, and collaborative approach.
Fluent English required; Spanish is desirable but not essential.
