Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee Key Stage 4, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement. The Head of KS4 will lead academic and pastoral initiatives, supporting students through IGCSEs and other key qualifications, while fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage KS4 curriculum delivery, teaching quality, and assessment.
Monitor and support student progress, implementing interventions to maximise achievement.
Provide guidance and mentorship to teachers, supporting professional development and performance management.
Collaborate with Senior Leadership and Heads of Department to ensure smooth transitions between KS3, KS4, and post-16 pathways.
Promote student wellbeing, engagement, and personal development across KS4.
Contribute to school initiatives, events, and extracurricular programs.
Candidate Profile:
Qualified teacher with significant experience in secondary education, ideally with KS4/IGCSE experience.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to motivate staff and students, driving high standards and continuous improvement.
Fluent English required; Spanish desirable but not essential.
