We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher who will be skilled to ensure well planned lessons and provide effective, personalized feedback in line with key policies including, but not limited to, T&L, feedback and displays; to ensure students are safe, engaged and challenged to maximize progress and educational outcomes for all.
Some specific responsibilities will include:
· Contributing to the school community and our drivers of Safe, Respectful and Ambitious
· Planning for outstanding teaching and learning, in line with the schools’ Teaching and Learning Policy
· Create a positive and creative atmosphere for learning that is conducive for outstanding practice
· Collaborate with peers on planning, ensuring opportunities for all students to achieve and make good progress
· Make effective use of assessment and feedback that impacts on individual student improvement and ultimately their achievement
· Ensure effective use of digital tools and technologies are employed in lessons to enhance learning opportunities and progress
· Maintain records and assessments of students that inform next steps that can be shared with parents in partnership with the school, impacting on students’ achievement
· Maintain a restorative approach when addressing behaviour concerns in line with the schools’ Behaviour Policy
· Keep up-to-date with current practices through the provided school CPD schedule, ISP Learning Hub and your own professional opportunities
Applicants must be able to demonstrate in their application or at interview:
• 2 years full time teaching experience either in the UK or in a British Curriculum school.
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and current assessment practices
• Experience of using data systems, student tracking, intervention, Target Setting, Assessment, Recording & Reporting
• A desire to be outstanding in teaching and learning
• Prepared to establish strong partnerships with our parent, enabling our students to succeed
• To collaborate and support whole school initiatives and the school improvement cycle
